About the project
The Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Region (MABR), supported by the Town of Qualicum Beach, is launching a new community climate outreach project led by MABR’s Youth Ambassador. Over the summer, our Youth Ambassador will attend local events to engage with residents of Qualicum Beach. We will be asking residents what climate action means to them, what steps they’re already taking, and what support they need to get involved in local climate initiatives.
The insights gathered will be compiled and presented to the Town of Qualicum Beach at the end of the summer to help shape future climate policies.
